The Contenders For The Faith

Gen 19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
Gen 19:2 And he said, Behold now, my lords, turn in, I pray you, into your servant's house, and tarry all night, and wash your feet, and ye shall rise up early, and go on your ways. And they said, Nay; but we will abide in the street all night.
Gen 19:3 And he pressed upon them greatly; and they turned in unto him, and entered into his house; and he made them a feast, and did bake unleavened bread, and they did eat.
Gen 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
Gen 19:5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
Gen 19:6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
Gen 19:7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
Gen 19:8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.

Gen 19 is more then just a story. Gen 19 is a perfect example of what men and women will do when they have reached the depths of depravity through homosexuality. In fact, you will see in Romans 1, that this lifestyle is one of the marks of being depraved.

I have found that the most intolerant person on this planet is not the true Christian, but the homosexual man or woman. My boys and I, along with a few men from our church experienced this hostility first hand when we went to the streets in Flagstaff to merely share the Lord Jesus Christ with people. We did not know that the "Pride In The Pines" was going on at the time, nor were we interested in protesting this event. We just wanted to tell people of the wonderful peace Jesus gives through repentance and faith in him. We were cussed at, we were laughed at, we were shouted at, we were told to shut up and get out by a primarily "gay"crowd. These "people did not even have the decency to withhold their foul language and gestures in the presence of children. Our own personal safety and the safety of our children was at risk, because they assumed we opposed them.

A young "gay" man told me that their was a distinction between the homosexual lifestyle and the the men in Gen 19:5-7. With the Anti-American sentiment displayed by the "gay" community during and after the California majority voting against homosexual marriage, and with what happened to Ms Prejean, and what I have seen first hand in my opposition to this lifestyle, I beg to differ with this young "gay" man. While on the street a "gay" group of men surrounded, touched, and made a pass at one of our preachers who obviously was not interested. Yet they continued forcing themselves on him in mock of what he believed. Who is forcing who?????

One of the things that interested me the most was the fact they despised my children being out there holding Gospel signs and even accused me of forcing them to do it. (This may shock them, but my boys actually asked me if they could go.) Yet How many times do we see the "gay" community forcing themselves into schools, and promoting their agenda without parental consent? They accuse us of not exposing our children to diversity, and yet it drives them crazy to think that we might teach them Jesus. Let me ask you this, should we allow our children to spend some time with Osama Bin Laden, in order to broaden their diverse experience? Should we let our children spend the night with a KKK member, to open their eyes eyes to another opinion? I ask you this, should we allow them to spend a day with a people, that are so intolerant, that they would forcibly stop you if they could, to keep you from merely disagreeing with their way of life? I don't know about you, but I don't want my children being around people with such vulgar attitudes.

The "gay" community's problem is that they can't naturally reproduce children, so they want to recruit yours!!!!!!!

Gen. 19 is also a warning to us. It is admonishing us, that to stand in the midst of "gay" men in opposition to them, without the Lord to protect you, is a dangerous place to be. Without the Lord to protect you, you take your own life in your hands. These people have stooped to such depths that their is almost no restraint as to what they will do to you. They would shut you up or stamp you out.

Thankfully the Lord cannot be shut up by mere perverts. If you'll read the rest of Gen. 19 you'll see that while they laughed the Lord to scorn, God punished them for their sin!! One of these days all men will stand before the Lord and be judged by him.(whether you believe in him or not.) It is not for me or you do, but instead it is our responsibility to preach to them the truth, in hopes that the Lord would save some.

Mat 19:25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

I close with this. Dear reader do not be intimidated or discouraged by the homosexual propaganda machine called main stream media. It is not the true Christian who is intolerant, but it is the homosexual community that is both intolerant and hostile to true America, the Lord Jesus Christ, and those who represent his holy name!
