The Contenders For The Faith

A thousand thanks to the dear folks at the (soon to renamed, well mybe not so soon if Pastor Wright has to sift through all the suggestions of Pastors Dan and Jerry) Towncenter Baptist Church. Our family had a time of refreshment and renewal during the meetings. Pastor Townsend's messages were timely and powerful. God worked not only in the lives of those at (someday to be renamed) Towncenter Baptist, but also in my life. I even believed that through the preaching and prompting of some individuals last week, (Mrs Wright, no, she did not preach) my son AJ came to put his faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ this morning. What a joy that was!!!!!!!!! So once again, thank you, more then you realize!

We are still looking forward to great things in Payson. It is back to work as usual!

I do want to encourage God's people with this verse.
1Pe 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

In this economic downturn it is easy to make decisions based on our circumstances instead of the will of God!!! If God is not leading us, why do we demand that he feed us???? Truly it is better if the will of God be so for our lives then to live in wonderment and make decisions based on whims and worry. Is what your doing in the will of God??
