Last night Keith Hoover preached a message. I have no doubt that it was intended directly for me, as the verses he used in his message I had just read the night before and had been thinking about a similar topic all day.
I praise The Lord for His blessings and for your interest in The Covenanter's Call.
Our greatest hope is that you know Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord. There is no greater joy than to have the peace in your heart that you will spend eternity with The Lord. If you do not have this peace then please contact any of us here at The Covenanter's Call and allow us to show you what The Bible has to say about your eternal soul.
Stay tuned to the program for exciting guests, informative subjects, and "straight down the line" Bible preaching!
Well, we just made it through a great hour with Dr. Sam Gipp, evangelist and author. It flew by and Dr. Gipp was able to handle all the questions hurled at him by us and the callers. We hope to be able to have him on again soon.
For those of you who have never heard of Dr. Sam Gipp, you have missed a fireball of a preacher. He is hilarious too. Lord willing, he is going to be on our show next week talking about the Bible versions. If you have a question to ask about the King James Version, this guy is sure to be able to answer you.
We just finished our second Hatefulness Hour, and it was a resounding success if you count success as being a place where people can vent without retribution. We are here for our listeners. It will be six weeks until our next Covenanter's Call Controversy and Conspiracy Hour Hatefulness Hour, so start saving up to vent your spleen then. Hey, it's cheaper than a doctor and more effective than a psychiatrist. It is an honor to provide this public service.
As Christians, we are to love our neighbors, but we are to abhor the sin that is so rampant in this land. Hate is a word that has lost its meaning precisely due to its overuse and a changed perception resulting in a culture of political correctness. This has been addressed at length by conservative political hacks and the "religious right" for years. We are actually doing something about it.
We, at Covenanter's Call, Christian Controversy and Conspiracy Hour, are looking to inject a little excitement into everyone's lives by allowing them to vent about what they hate. We all hate certain things that are worth hating, such as being stuck in traffic, being harassed by the commie pinko sodomites, and getting into car accidents with and losing jobs to illegal aliens.
If you made a box of pudding, but only used half the ingredients needed, what would happen?
If you cooked a caserole, but only baked it half way, would it still be any good?
What if you decided to only pay part of your mortgage this month... Would the bank mind?
What if you only put one battery in your remote control...?
Though we live in a fast paced, instant gratification, give it to me now, I deserve everything, you owe me something mentality, is there really any good time to only do things half way?
Not really, No!
But what about God. Don't we only give him 10%, 100% of the time time?
What if God only put one battery in you?
